      Lovely model

Excellent, detailed model. The weight of it is amazing so I'm expecting plenty of tractive effort. At time of writing I've run it for about four hours and it has been smooth and quiet from the first time it turned a wheel. I've had to knock a star off because two of the roof magnets were loose. That's harsh as it's a very, very minor problem but since the model wasn't perfect I can't give it 5. However, this is a very fine model indeed.

      Class 37 37001

The level of attention to detail is superb and together with the sound file it makes for a class leading model of the class 37

      37001

I had an issue with DPD as they could not locate my delivery address, so my parcel was sent back to Accurascale. DPD have delivered several parcels to me over the last two months, without any issues. I contacted Accurascale and asked that my parcel be delivered by Royal Mail. My parcel arrived on 08/12/2023. With regard to the Class 37 Diesel (37001), as with my previous Class 37s, a very detailed model with an attractive livery. I am very impressed with this model and the support given by Accurascale in sorting out the delivery issue with DPD.

      Great but perhaps overly complicated

I have two of the 37001 versions (one to be renumbered). Both look stunning. The snag for me was both needed a lot of DCC fiddling with CV's to get the sound issues sorted. Then there was sand pipes which if you want a static model are great but I want mine to run which they can't with those clicking all the time. Would I buy yes, are they perfect no, I would say 90% there from my experiences...

By the skin of my teeth...

I was fortunate to aquire one of the sole remaining 37001s after I missed out on the initial ordering process. To be blessed in receiving one of these "tractors" in pristine ex works condition with round buffers and shrouds was the highlight of my year.
The unit is as fabulous as expected. Receiving the loco in its sturdy packaging, I felt as excited as the first crew to board this beast in March 1974 adorning it's new running number '37001'.
The details that adorn this beast were well worth the wait and now I am the proud owner of two Accurascale class 37s, the other being my "show pony" D6703 which has been running faultlessly since its arrival a couple of months ago.
Go Accurascale... keep whipping Hornby's butt... I'm starting to think they actually enjoy it! 😉

      1st Accurascale purchase

On opening, a slight niggle, two of the magnets holding the roof in place had come loose and one of the buffers was not straight. However, on the whole pleased with the detail and the presence of the model, looks just the part.

This is one amazing Class 37. From the detail to the fit and finish. Hands down the best British Railroad model trains.
Looking forward to my class 89. Thank you
